With those old stub nose vans (VW, Econoline, Dodge, GM) you're the first on scene if you're in a front end crash 😆. Cool van though. Those windows look great.

Panel T=he Walls and place small holes in paneling and inject foam, You wont be sorry. MAKE SURE You pit in all Your wiring and outlets in conduit. Draw a Picture and get it how you like then do the wiring, Water lines, Inverter, solar panel ect.. Paneling is Placed After Walls are plumed. I Would Use deadening on Floor not walls, Dont forget outside Plugs and water inlet for talk. Put a plug Outside so You can plug it into Power when Parked.. I Have done Many Trucks and vans.. Wire roof lights and fans .. Conduit Into Boxes You can make the boxes out of wood. 2x1 wood for framing. Pre drill and screw with glueeverything. Gusset the 2x1 wood.. Pit in Cross Bars with wood to screw fixtures to

I believe you're supposed to put seam sealer around the hole put the ring in the hole and put your window glue in the ring install the window in go back on the inside where you see the holes on the ring and screw your screws in through those holes and between ring seam sealer medal of van and window even if it was into the glass there wouldn't be enough screw to hit the glass

Why don’t you install a small pop up camper A/C unit on the roof of the van.

I have a friend that had 6 of these ! He wants another so bad and can't find one . He put v8s in his with automatic transmissions, added power brakes and power assist steering , one of them he put ac in . Love your show , keep it up !

Lee windows does look great in it good choice lee John sent you a good choice windows if 35:52 you decide to do the sides think about putting paneling in and don't have to be the paneling part thing you know the wood thing on the other side you can reverse that paneling and then you got like cabinet the wood grain light then you could just stain it or just leave it like it is it in behind it between the frame kind of like where they put the shelving you can panel that 8 ft sheets or even 10 ft if you can find them that long sometimes they sell paneling like that and then you can put house insulation in behind it find like asbestos stuff got the paper on it it unfolds and you can put a little glue on the paper and on the the hold it up there when you put the paneling on it then you're getting the 50s look or 60s play set a stop all that soundproof how to take the rattles right out of it then just put your air bed in the back with a box Bridge sit in and air it up there's your mattress your bed in the back across the back door put your two Captain chairs in like recliners or something or you can even put a recliner in their you both down the legs on it think outside the box maybe one of them old vans has got a table that you can refurbish between the Captain chairs and there you go you got your van couple seats to set in back there then you can lay down and sleep if you want and the way you put stereos in surround sounded or whatever you want throw a small TV in there in antenna or laptop with a TV on make a TV out of it you're set up to go camping will propane stove maybe one of them small refrigerators sit in there plug it into a campground or something or use a generator my dad had just one just like it same model and when you look back at the bed the paneling part come across in front of the bed but I had a big old heart-shaped cut into it and the rest of it was closed in needed air or anything like that you got your doors open up the back even in the side doors all kinds of air flow through it then could you ceiling fan in it or even a little window fan the kind that closes up on the window turn it upside down put some chains on it have fan blowing right down on you while you laying in the bed Cool Breeze is Dad going thinking outside the box at junkyard Plum full of stuff bucket seats out there somewhere Something That Power and Light head wooden things that rolled up wire on small one turn it on its side and you got a table bolt it down stain it up little plywood on the top of its make it smooth just a few things look at and think about write your own backyard I'm just rattling so outside the boxes all I can say

One thing to consider with paint would be the Grille, bumpers and mirrors. Quite a few of them end up white. Mine they are black without the headlight surrounds. The black color ties in with the window seals and tires. It can make a big difference in the look if it is one of those or the same as the body color.

I've got a post office box myself and anytime I order anything the post office will not deliver to my house they'll leave me a yellow piece of paper telling me I have a package at the post office and to come get it, I'll go up to the post office and bring the yellow piece of paper and then they give me my package.

I have those same style of portholes on my 73 van. The inside ring is meant to go against an interior panel (which you haven’t made yet). You screw the inside ring to the outside ring and it’s supposed to pull the two rings together for a tighter fit. You don’t drill into the outer ring or the outside wall. My portholes are off now because I’m finishing the van’s repaint. I dont know if that makes sense. Wish I could show a picture. Yeah and you just use silicone sealer to glue and seal down the exterior window to the outside metal. Looks like you figured out how to make it work with mounting it to an interior panel. Yeah the port windows look good on the van! Definitely added a cool factor to the exterior it didn’t have.

If you drill a hole through the van and drill a hole through a flat straight stick both ends.then put a nut and bolt though the stick and the body.and a marker through the other hole you can make a perfect full circle.peace....
